Founded in 1989, Miller Marine has earned the excellent reputation as a full service repair facility for both the military and commercial market. Our facilities encompass over 10,000 square feet of machine shop space with a wide range of capabilities, including sheet metal fabrication, machining, CNC waterjet and plasma cutting, welding and repair services.

Miller Marine holds over 87 welding certifications which apply to almost any combination of welds imaginable. These are of particular interest to our military and industrial customers but can be applied to any host of projects.

We are a certified ABR (Agreement for Boat Repair) with the US Navy and routinely work aboard a variety of Navy ships, including Aircraft Carriers, Destroyers, Hospital Ships, Frigates, LCAC, LCM8, LCU and Amphibious Assault Ships. With an approved Quality System Manual in accordance with STD-ITEM 00904 and ISO 9001/2000, we continually monitor the quality of our work and seek out opportunities for improvement in all areas of operation.

Located on the San Diego Bayfront, we serve customers in Southern California and have taken on projects up and down the West and East Coast as well as Hawaii and as far away as Guam.

Our long list of customers include NASSCO/General Dynamics, BAE Systems, Solar Turbines, ITT , Lockheed-Martin, Coca-Cola, The City of San Diego. We also do work for business owners, artists experimenting with metal fabrication and many private individuals who walk into our shop looking for a solution to a project they’re working on.
